This is an invitation to all CSACI members to submit proposals for sessions in the 80th CSACI Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM), to be held October 16-18, 2025 at the Fairmont Winnipeg in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The ASM sessions are accredited educational activities that play a significant role in the success of the meeting and the professional practice of Allergists and Immunologists across Canada.

The ASM Program Committee aims to create more targeted and specialized sessions to focus on the subspecialties of Immunology, Pediatrics and Allergy at this year’s meeting. Sessions are defined dynamically each year in response to CSACI member needs.

Submission Criteria

Each submission received by the due date mentioned below will undergo a peer-review process. The following criteria is provided to indicate the key aspects that will be considered during the review process:

• A comprehensive proposal containing all required information outlining the topics, speakers and learning objectives
• Topics that are relevant and/or innovative
• Presentation formats that will stimulate discussion and/or engage the audience both virtually and in-person
• Multidisciplinary or team approaches with a mix of genders, experience level, provider types e.g., Advanced Practice Providers and institutions
• Topics and faculty that are new and not repetitive from previous years or other sessions

Each proposal will be peer-reviewed for the following essential components: clinical, practice, scientific or didactic quality; broad appeal to the CSACI membership (please refer to our 2024 Needs Assessment Summary for more information); and timeliness of the topic(s). The CSACI is committed to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) as core values of the organization and will prioritize any proposals that have taken EDI considerations into the planning of the session.  The Program Committee reserves the right to propose modifications and alternative presentation formats based on the submissions received.
